Our name
Why "Maxim Gorki"?
A name that links our founder's story with Russian culture.
A name with history
The school is named after the Russian writer Maxim Gorki, a key figure who used his work to denounce social injustice and protect Russia's cultural heritage.
Our founder, Maya Romenets de Ríos, was born in the city of Gorki (today Nizhny Novgorod). Her story inspires us to honor that legacy, serving as a bridge between Russia's rich culture and the present.
In life, you know, there is always room for great deeds.
«В жизни, знаешь ли, всегда есть место подвигам»
Maxim Gorki
